Schedule a Road Test

Whether you are a student of our driving school or not, we are pleased to assist you with taking your road test. We can work together to schedule a time that works best with everyone. You could attend one of our popular weekend road tests. Our weekend road tests are located within the North Quincy area where all students are most comfortable.

Using North Quincy Auto Academy as a sponsor for the road test will include using one of our vehicles for the road test and having one of our instructors as a sponsor for the road test. For our road tests, it will be mandatory for everyone to take the exam in an NQAA vehicle. 

Email info@NQAutoAcademy.com a copy (picture or a scan) of your permit, a phone number to best reach you, and a road test date. You will receive a confirmation email.

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit to register and reserve your spot. You have until the "Submit Intent" date to pay the remainder. The fee must be paid either in cash or by money order. 

Pay RMV Fees Before Your Testing Date

$85 ($50 for license and $35 for processing the road test application)
We suggest that you pay all RMV fees listed below either by telephone (857-368-8000) or by visiting an RMV branch. This allows the examiner to convert your permit into a license the following day after you have passed the road test. NQAA cannot accept RMV fee payments. Please keep in mind the $85 RMV fees and the $130 NQAA road test sponsorship are two different payments. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us. 

Cancellations

Please cancel all other road tests before booking with us. The RMV only allows one road test booked at a time. The RMV has the right to change or cancel road test dates with short notice. The RMV has been moving us on the weekdays in the morning at the Braintee RMV.

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit to register and reserve your spot. After the road test is scheduled, there is a $100 cancellation fee.

  • Road Test for Adults & Non-NQAA under 18 Students

    This option is for Adults over the age of 18, as well as any Junior Operator student coming from a different driving school. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot.

Road Test Requirements

  • 18+ with a valid permit
  • 16 1/2 with a Drivers Education Certificate on file with the RMV and have held a permit for at least six months

What to Bring for a Road Test

  • Completed/Signed Road Test Form
  • Valid Permit - If in bad condition, please get a new copy from the RMV
  • Contacts or glasses, if applicable to you
  • Wear Sneakers - No flip flops 

Road Test Dates

The dates listed below are potential road test dates that we will be requesting for a weekend (either on Saturday or Sunday) road test which will be held in North Quincy at the North Quincy Auto Academy Office. Keep in mind, some of the weekend road tests might be rescheduled to a Monday or Tuesday (pending RMV availability). If you plan on taking a road test with NQAA, please let us know in advance so we can work together to complete all the necessary hours to take the road test.

Road test lists are limited to 30 students on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be changed or updated by the RMV without prior notice.
